The Bordeaux Metropole Tourism and Convention Bureau

The Bordeaux Metropole Tourism and Convention Bureau -OTCBM-  is responsible for welcoming and informing visitors, promoting the area and its network of tourist partners, marketing tours and promoting the destination to three target groups: leisure, business and local visitors. It also has an events unit, which organizes the Bordeaux Wine Festival.

The OTCBM has been awarded the “Qualité Tourisme” quality label, and for several years has been strongly committed to increasingly responsible tourism and events management. At the end of 2021, the OTCBM obtained ISO 20121 certification for “responsible management systems applied to events”.

In 2022, Bordeaux was also elected European Capital of Smart Tourism, a title that rewards the city for its exemplary achievements in tourism in four areas: accessibility, sustainable development, digitization as well as cultural heritage and creativity.
