Welcome to Lions European Youth Music Competition
tHE MUSIC COMPETITION Thomas kuti
The European Music Prize is awarded annually to the Lions Europa Forum to encourage talented young European musicians. The instrument changes every year. This year, the instrument selected is the Clarinet.
After preliminary selections organized in each country, the final will take place during the European Forum, from 23 to 26 October 2024 at the Jacques Thibaud Conservatory in Bordeaux.
Participants must not be older than 24 years of age on 1 January of the competition year. To participate, contact the Lions organization in your country for more information and to register.
The candidate will have to prepare for the audition with:
- a imposed song of about ten minutes. The obligatory piece for 2024 is Mendelssohn: Song without Words Opus 109 for clarinet & piano
- two tracks of his choice from a predefined list

the lions charity concert
Lions Charity Concert European Chamber Players, will take place on
Wednesday, October 23, 2024
at the Sainte Croix church in Bordeaux
by a chamber orchestra composed of former laureates from all over Europe and conducted by Wilhem Walz Conductor.
