Located in the most northern part of France, district 103 North covers the Hauts-de-France region (North, Pas-de-Calais, Aisne and Somme). Between sea and countryside, mountains and flat country, this territory does not lack tourist attractions and knows how to cultivate a sense of warm hospitality. Its 106 Lions clubs bring together 2,124 members. Proofs of the vitality of the district, three new clubs were created this year and received their charter from Patti Hill during her visit to Paris.
Under the governorship of Bruno Decherf, two unprecedented agreements were signed, following the floods in early March, with the Civil Protection of Pas-de-Calais. One concerns the delivery of forty electric pumps and the other, the creation of a unit ready to intervene in the event of disasters.
Another particularity specific to 103 North, the organization of a business Creation Contest while respecting the environment for companies in project, those with a maximum of two balance sheets and self-employed businesses. It was, in 2024, the 38th edition.
The district is very proud to have seen its winners of the novel and eloquence contests rise to the first step of the podium, during the national contest in Orléans, during our National Convention.
