Every year, 200 young foreigners from 18 to 24 years old are gathered in Paris to participate in the centres. They are recruited with the help of embassies, French alliances and French high schools. They spend 4 weeks in France including a week with a host family.
Every two years the Cifaq (French-speaking international center of aquitaine) is organized in our region. About 30 young people participate in this course and decline their days according to a chosen theme, specific to each center, through conferences, round tables, cultural and tourist visits. They prepare a colorful show to present at the end of the internship, they realize a report of internship all under the leadership of a team of supervisors recruited from former interns. They participate in community life. They travel around Aquitaine and share their evening with families.
The objectives of the CIF

- Cultivate friendship in a friendly and festive studious dynamic
- Understand your differences, share common aspirations and thus respect and esteem
Internship 2024
This year, the theme of Cifaq is «2024 Olympic Year: Sporting hearts, global ties, cultivating passion and friendship».
Arrival in Paris on July 2nd and departure for Agen on July 5th.
From July 6 to July 8 in a host family from July 9 to 15 in Lot et Garonne with a highlight: on July 14 the Marseillaise sung in traditional costume at the Boé war memorial. July 16 and 17 in Béarn, July 19 and 20 the Basque coast, Arcachon 20 July 21, 22 and 23 Bordeaux. Saint-Emilion, July 24 and 25 in the Dordogne, July 26 other highlight the evening of Gala in Boé where many are waiting for you to share with these young people a great moment of happiness and emotion. July 26 27 and 28 return with family and departure for Paris on July 29.
