Bert Mason Contest, the competition for young ambassadors

During each Europa Forum, the competition for young Bert Mason ambassadors takes place. The objective here is simple:

“Recognize, encourage and support young people who actively participate in social actions for their community.”

Young people aged 15 to 19 come to present to a jury, in English and without any digital supports, a project that they have carried out, full of meaning, seriousness, and strong in the values of Lionism.
The causes presented are varied: organization of waste collection on the beaches, preparation and distribution of meals to homeless people by all the college students in an establishment, etc.

This competition must be open in each country, the winner of each country then participates in the competition at European level, during the Europa Forum. It is important to emphasize that the prizes awarded to the winners at the end of the competition must be invested entirely in the project to develop it.

I strongly encourage you, fellow Lions, to come and see the presentation phases of the Bert Mason Competition. I will therefore meet you on Saturday October 26 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Clément Ader room. It is very impressive to see these young people who, despite their age, carry out projects of such magnitude. Great inspirations for our movement!
