This beautiful appellation could be called: “the wine in the city”!
Leaving Bordeaux, shortly after crossing the “Barrière de Pessac”, you quickly discover the vineyards of Château Haut-Brion along the street! Then, before leaving the city of Pessac, Château Pape Clément stands on your left. As for Luchey-Halde in Mérignac, you can even get there by Tram!
These three « Châteaux in the city » represent nearly 10% of the surface area of the PESSAC-LEOGNAN appellation.
Let us now continue our route after the ring road, to join Chantal and Philippe MIECAZE at Château Léognan.
At Château Léognan, you can experience immersion in the heart of the vineyard: taste the most beautiful millesimes in this 19th century castle, where you can stay for a gourmet stay of a few days, choosing to stay in a suite or a room of the Château or a suspended lodge, in the heart of nature.
