We live in an increasingly diverse world. We are surrounded by people of different cultures, religions, origins and perspectives. This is good, because it gives us the opportunity to learn and grow. But it can also be a challenge, because it forces us to confront our differences. To live better together we must be willing to face these challenges. We must be respec4ul of other people’s differences, tolerant and understanding. We must be willing to collaborate. As? Creating more harmonious and inclusive communities and societies, learning to appreciate different cultures, and the perspectives of others. And again, be willing to listen and see things from other points of view, working together to solve common problems and build a better future for all.
As Lions we are committed to living better together, but we
“must” do it even more.
We can work to fight hate and discrimination. Supporting laws and policies that protect the rights of all people, regardless of their race, religion, origin or sexual orientation. We can promote inclusion and participation by supporting and supporting programs that help people of all cultures participate in community life. We can organize events and programs that bring together people of different cultures to build bridges between different communities. Coexistence is a continuous work in progress, but it is work worth doing while serving millions of people. We can all do our part to create a better world.
